I got on the Gautrain on my way to Pretoria and missed the switch over at Marlboro station. I ended up at OR Thambo airport and wanted to go back to Marlboro to go to Pretoria. When I got there I was told I should pay to go out and pay to come back in again after explaining to the security staff that I wanted to go to Pretoria and not OR thambo I was charged for the trip although I didn't want to be in OR Thambo. So my complaint is that why should I pay for a trip that was not my end destination and why should I pay for going out at OR Thambo just to go back in for a trip that was not even my intention.
I think I should be refunded for the trip and also need an apology from Gautrain for the inconvenience since the security said I must go out and in at the same station and pay 4 times for a trip that would have only costed me R41-00 but now I ended up paying R270-00 for the trip. Really bad service and no understanding from security staff. I asked to speak to a manager and the guy behind the security glass window phoned but there was no answer and I just had to pay the tariff.
