Incompetence of home affairs employees

To Whom It May Concern,

This is regarding my husband's application for temporary residency.(zimbabwean)

His first application was handed in at Cape Town 's home affairs office on 16.7.2012. He submitted all the required documents and application form. A copy of his passport, medical and radiological report, copy of marriage certificate, copy of my ID, police clearance and the DHA 1738 application form. All copies were certified. He was later issued with a spousal permit instead of the temporary residence permit which he initially applied for. He called Cape Town office to advise them thereof and he was told to resubmit his documents.

His first follow-up call to the Head Office in pretoria on 0800 601190, was done on 31/7/2012. After numerous follow-up calls to Home Affairs and Pretoria, he was advised to make another application as his application could not be found.

And so it went on and we eventually had to re-apply 4 times (his docs could not be found was their excuse) and it is now 2014 and we still awaiting a decision and response to his fourth application. In the meantime my husband has to look for work outside of the country. I am frustrated..
I need HELP!!!
