Saturday (28th December) morning at around 10 am, I discovered a pool of water next to my newly installed water meter. I made a call at 0860 54 3000 which was attended after 1 hour 15 minutes. The complaint was lodged with Ayanda who then gave us the reference number: 960465. A promised was made that the problem will attended to urgently as it was seriously affecting the consumption on our side. Almost 10 hours after lodging the complaint, none has attended the problem. We have closed the water on the meter to avoid further waste. The city council has failed us in the past and even now this is a sign that we will be failed. We cannot get water at the moment because of the leakage. What is frustrating worse is the fact that to follow on the progress of the complaint would mean another 1 hour and more. Please help us
