I am writing to you as a last hope to sort out my South African Citizenship once and for all.
Many years have passed & I wanted to arrange a SA passport which would enable me to benefit from a lot of opportunities such as local driving licence & easy access into other African countries where no visas are required etc., I also wanted to be able to Vote next year which has once again fallen through. I have over the past 7 years applied for my SA Citizenship at Randburg Home affairs and after long months & years of waiting for an update. Unfortunately, I was told that Home Affairs had implemented a new application procedure & that I would have to reapply once again & was told not to worry, it would only take 3 months! Patiently I went on with my life thinking that there shouldn't be any more surprises. 18 months later I was told that I still have an offence reflecting on their records based in Pretoria and that my application was refused. Obviously I was dumbfounded & couldn't believe what I was hearing, I told the lady that I have been through this process more than once more than once & that I have already provided copies of my last Police Clearance certificate, finger prints etc.
