I recently with the help of my landlord wanted to apply for a prepaid meter. The offer was turned down on the basis that on that flat were I live we get a bulk meter for electricity which goes to agent who leases most of the apartments at the premises. My question is how do we move away from the bulk meter of the agency and get a prepaid meter. I know its possible because at the block of flats there are some units there which have prepaid electricity. Please help me because I am tired of being charged exorbitant electricity charges month after month.
