Fix your mistakes

I did a Surname change in 2005, home affairs issued me with a new birth certificate and Id, i went back a few months ago as i lost my ID to issue a new one. I get to home affairs and they inform me that my surname has not changed in they system so i took the Id they provided me with and informed me they will look into the issue with they head office and it has been two months since.

i went to them and provided them with all my information and yet still nothing.

I do not have a bank card or my licence or purchase my new home due to the fact that my profile has a different surname as per the 1st ID book they issued to me. know i need to fix my issues and i can not due to the incorrect ID Booklet that they have provided me with.

It was Home Affairs lack of service that has left me in this predicament and i have been more then patient with the fixing of the issue and yet i have no Feedback. i have spent the past 2 days trying to get in contact with home Affairs Randburg and their Head office and there is no reply on any of the numbers listed on their website.

it was your mistake in the 1st place so FIX IT as my life is on hold due to your incompetence. FIX it ASAP!!! mxa
