Unfairly Being Extorted

In 2007/2008 when I started working I called to register and if memory serves me correctly, your systems will show that as well I was however told though that I didn't meet the threshold so there was no need to submit my tax returns. Please note that I made the call and that information was relayed to me meaning I didn't play the ignorant card. I showed initiative and did the right thing.

When I changed jobs in around 2009/2010 period I called again explained that I had changed jobs, pity is that my faith was heavily reliant on the opinion that SARS was up to speed on things. I don't remember the name of the person I spoke to hence I didn't take down name no reference but all I remember is that he was a gentleman, who advised that submitting of tax returns is generally for people with more than form of income with my cost to company which he knew was a cost to company, he said what your (my) company normally submits as the tax potion should be sufficient. I am not a tax person, no finance person but since I was being advised this, how could I doubt this especially from a qualified employed person of SARS.
