There was a major water "outage" (failure) in Crystal Park in the middle of June. This presented the Residents with a "challenge" (problem) as to how to cope without water for three and a half days. The Water Department, eventually, got the water back but at an extremely low pressure. So low that a normal, auto washing machine cannot function properly.
I have sent the Municipality several e-mails regarding the "outage" and the resultant "challenge" to myself and others who no longer have a proper water supply. All that happens is a return e-mail with a lengthy Reference Number and a promise to look into the "challenge". Absolutely nothing else!
However, at no stage, can any work be seen to be getting done at the failed/ challenged Pump Station or any other water supply point in the Suburb.
Should I be economically challenged and unable to pay my monthly Account I am fairly sure that the Municipality will have no intervening reasons to cut off my water and electricity supply!
So what is their overall problem? Lack of interest/ concern/ couldn't give a? As long as their money keeps coming in the with everyone else? The next Elections should be very, very interesting.
