It looked like my son had tonsillitis again so I took him to the clinic. First off I waited 2 hours now that in itself is not a major issue, but then when I got to the front the nurse gave me a really dirty look and said no we will call you. I went out and waited another 10 minutes for what appeared to be her tea time. when I was finally helped the nurse gave me such a disgusted look I immediately felt unwelcome. She told my son to climb on the scale which he duly did. She then looked at me and asked his age and why I was here. I told her the symptoms. She not once even so much as looked in my sons direction let alone examine him. She went to the cupboard got Allergex (cant see how an anti-histamine will help), paracetamol (which if she had bothered to asked would have found out I have at home) and then took out this powder that she mixed with TAP water. Anyone who lives in Kroonstad knows Centrals tap water is not safe to drink not unless you want an upset stomach. So all in all I wasted my time coming to the clinic. Very disappointing.
