FINAL DEMAND ISSUED ON INCORRECT ESTIMATED BILL

I queried and escalated the May 2013 bill received for an ESTIMATED reading for electricity. The actual electricity consumption is usually between R350.00 and R 700 max. The bill received was estimated for
R 2366.92. I was informed by the Council to take a reading of the meter together with the caretaker of the block of flats. We could not access the meter as it was locked and only Council staff have access to the meter, so I contacted the council and escalated the problem again. They agreed to send an inspector to do an actual reading and adjust my account accordingly. I made payment as per the average billing received for the past year. On 20 June I receive the June bill and the account is still incorrect with yet another ESTIMATED reading but this time more in line with what it should be R751.00. I again escalate the existing reference number with the council. On 25 June 2013 my tenant at the flat is issued with a FINAL DEMAND.
