South African Police Service
Police Abusing there authority

I was rudely awaken by 11 male officers in my yard at 12.00 am this morning. When i opened the door they didnt identify themselves, their names or show there bages or even say what police station they from. There was only 2 out of the 11 police officers (well i assume they where all police officers) that had a police officers uniform on. The very rude officer that spoke to me said hes looking for "petronella" he doesnt have a last name for her and he refused to let me see the file he was carrying. And the more i tell him my name and i dont have a domestic that lives in and i dont know a "petronella" the more he insists to see my ID. I eventually gave in and fetched my ID and then he says oh its not u, then he writes my name, surname and ID number on his file. 1st of all they where trespassing on my property, 2nd was it necessary to have 11 male officers to arrest 1 women (he didnt show me any documents, so i dont even know if he had a warrent of arrest) 3rd is it not neccessary to identify yourself as a police officer from which branch u are and what u doing on my property? Again the police do what they want and harras the tax payers of this country and they get away with it.
