At 07h00 on Thursday the 23rd of May we reported a water leak on our pavement to Joburg Water. The leak has deteriorated since then but no one from Joburg Water has arrived to repair it. We were told during our follow up calls on the 24th and 25th of May that "the matter would be escalated as a team had already been assigned to the job". Needless to say, the leak remains four days (and hundreds of thousands of litres of water) later. Calls to the Joburg Water "help line" on Sunday the 26th of May and this morning, the 27th, were simply not answered, the message - "we are experiencing high call volumes"! The absolute waste of water and the damage it is causing is disgusting. Fantastic service from a world class...!
