I am dissapointed in RSA's home affairs systems and how it is easy for ones identity to be duplicated. I got married last month and was advised by Home affairs that i was an illegal Immigrant when submiting my marriage certification documents. I was then requested to prove that I exist and am the real me through submission of certain documents of which I did. I am now currently waiting for this to be fixed and was advised by Sibusiso Ndlovu REF:1305039632 from Home affairs, that he cannot confirm how long my identity will be redeemed and that it might take up to 8 months. I donot understand why I have to suffer in this whole process, and my life put on hold for corruption that took place in Home affairs? I am in possession of a car licence obtained on 28 June 2013 as well as a valid passport, how possible was a car licence made through my finger prints if my identity has been duplicated since 1999? I see no Justice or fairness in having to wait for months for my marriage to be registered even after proving my identity with all the requested documents!!!
