I saw that the TV Plus were running a subscription Competition for "Casio Watches" to fully paid up subscribers. As it was their second run of this competition, and because I really wanted the watch, I subscribed. Kinda forgot about it, but imagine my surprise and excitement when I received a call stating that I had WON one of the Casio watches. I used to email them almost daily to find out when my "Prize" would be delivered.
2 months later I get a call stating that they apologize as they had sent my watch to the wrong person, would I accept something else instead.
I asked if I could rather have the cash equivalent of the prize offered and I would go out and buy the watch myself, I was politely told that they don't do that and I should accept the [URL Removed] "Gift Vouchers". They mailed it to me the same day. One number had already expired, and the rest were expiring the very next week (31st March, I'm still awaiting the other new Voucher and time extension)
So now I can't cash out the Vouchers to try and get the watch, and [URL Removed] has very limited stock on their pages that appeal to me.
What on earth did I do to deserve this?
