BE CAREFUL OF DESPATCH COUPLE SELLING CARS

I was without a car for 4 months and working towards a loan from the Bank. I received my loan and started loking around for a bargain. I saw a ad in the Weekend Argus adveriising a Golf for R12 300 good runner.
The car was in Despatch and there was a problem with the gears and all it needed was for the linkages to be replaced and the car was in perfect running order. Went to look and the car was in reasonalble good condition (after the other ones I had seen) I asked them please to tell me if there was anything else wrong with the car as I could not drive it away because of the gears. Koos and his wife assured me it was in good running order and nothing else wrong. I offered R9000 and they accepted paid them and towed the car away. Mechanic had a look at the car on the Monday and informed me there was a craced cylinder head and crank shaft damaged plus the elecrtics in a shambles. Contacted the sellers and they said they had sold it for another person the owner, I called him and he had sold it to Koos and wife for R5000, I asked Koos and wife for R2000 back on the car as I had to fix the engine and gear box, they agreed but 3 months later I am still waiting & they wont answercel
