I was the winner of the Kids quiz on Monday 23/09 once all the questions were answered the phone was just put down, no hold on we need to take your details, and since then it has been and endless struggle to get hold of ANYONE at Jacaranda just for a follow up and to understand what the next steps are but after 6 "no answer" calls and 4 emails sent i am starting to give up and coming to the realization that the only reason they have these competitions is to gain listeners with no intention of really paying out prizes, or in my case just communicating what is happening. And judging from all the other complaints regarding there "no payouts" i might as well write this off.
I have won on 2 other radio stations a few times, where a query regarding the payout is sent and a response mail is received within 1 day just with info on what the next steps are and keeping me up to date. I dont have a problem with payouts taking 8 weeks, as in some of the other cases, i just want to know what is happening? Or should i forget about receiving any info or communication.
