I phoned Bargain Books yesterday with a query on a book (actually, I had no idea what I was specifically looking for, but in need of assistance). Morne answered and was extremely friendly and efficient. He assisted me over the phone as much as he could and gave me so many options and details about the different books. I decided to go to the store to have a look where Amanda assisted me. Again, extremely friendly and helpful. She kept running up and down to check for stock and finding out if different branches had stock of the book as I wanted quite a few of the same one. She said she will have the manager phone the warehouse and see if they still have and then place an order. Early this morning she phoned and said they did have stock and she has ordered already. I phoned back a minute later to add a few more books (because of the special it works out more or less the same price for more), Morne answered and said he already took the liberty of ordering extra just in case. And then I found out he was the friendly manager all along. The owner of this store can be proud that staff and management alike are working hard to run an effective, efficient store with happy customers.
