We have written the SPCA already with two or three e-mails to all of their listed mails for feral cats and stray dogs (of which one email does not even work), and they do not even reply. When you call them they sound like they are looking for ANY reason to transfer you to someone else and everything is 'we dont do that' or 'you have to call this other place' - it's ridiculous.
The Hangberg, Hout Bay Harbour community is in DESPERATE need that a few cars come here and collect dogs and cats that are literally just running around. The other day my little brother was attacked and bitten by two dogs and had to be rushed to the clinic, and before that he was running from them and on another occasion the dogs entered the school and only from the school did they finally pick that dog up a year ago. Now I was walking up the stairs and two stray dogs started to run after me.
the SPCA must send a couple of trucks and drive around Atlantic Skipper Street, Rhode de Vos street and Salamander Road here in Hangberg and collect the strays that are attacking people and tearing all of the bins and trash to bits.
