I was informed by Georgia Goedhals of an interview that I was selected for. The day before I had called her and indcated that I needed to be at the interview earlier, but she indicated that I could go earlier and slot in.
I was not given the contact details of the persons that I needed to see at the interview. I arrived at the interview at 9h10, and proceeded to look for the interviewer and was escorted by security all over the buildings looking for the person. I eventually found the person at 9h45 and indicated to them that I would need to leave by about 10h00 as I had another engagement. The interviewer was unhappy by this and then did not want to continue with the interview.
I called Georgia Goedhals (the recruitment agent) and she indicated to me that the interviewer indicated that I acted in a unprofessional way and that my behaviour was despicable. I explained to the Georgia Goedhals what had transpired and she indicated that the company would not be assisting me further. I was very disapoointed to find that as a candidate, my best interests are not considered and that the lack of information from Georgia was held against me.
