Peters Watersports contacted me from Gumtree and asked if they could sell my boat because they were getting busy, running out of stock and they OFFER FINANCE... which was the deciding factor for me. As they are a Boating company clients prefer to buy form them as there is some kind of recourse and they give their clients warranties on all their deals, which I thought, was also a draw card for sales. When I took my boat in, I signed a contract which clearly stated that any latent defects on boat, motor or trailer would be for my cost. This was totally acceptable as you cannot expect them to pay for your defects on your boat of they are merely the broker!!!
There were one or two issues they called me about to sort out, I paid for, they sold the boat and paid me out in full!! I handed over the logbook for the trailer and there were no issues what so ever. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND them to sell any Marine Asset as they are proffesional and efficient!! They also really look after the buyers I must say!!! Peter has a business to run and I agree that he must fight for his business rights as he must also feed his family. Well done... keep it up!!
