I applied on PNET for the Prospective Management positions& Kim called saying the manager liked my CV & that I must come in for a interview within the next hour with a pen and my CV. When I said that Im not available at such short notice &she said the Manager insisted on seeing me first so I'm basically guaranteed a job when I come in. I agreed to come in at 15:00 only to enter the boardroom where Sonja Bruwer did a group interview with 2other candidates because boardroom was unfortunately booked. We had to complete a form & hand in our CV's. The form asks questions thats absolutely irrelevant for employment purposes. e.g your car registration numer, who lives with you etc. After the interview she explained vaguely about the company & that we will understand better after we come in for an observation day (which is the next day) without pay obviously. We could choose from 4 different positions i.e. Sales/Training/Junior/ Finance Managers. When Sonja (HR Manager) could not give us what the salary was for the posts because she does not know alarm bells went off for me. I googled the company & read all the complaints. Not going too waste my time only to find out its only sales posts.
