MY SPANIEL NEEDED IMMEDIATE ATTENTION

My Spaniel of 15 years had a stroke on Friday 22nd of February 2013, I phoned Birchvet animal clinic in a panic and was told by the receptionist they close from 12 to 3. This I understand but they have an emergency number. I told her i do not give a CONTINENTAL if they are sleeping eating or what I need a vet urgently.
They have 2 vets working there. She is a very nice lady the morning receptionist and she said i will phone u back now I am going to phone the closest vet of the two. She came back with the answer, sorry they are busy with their own things now take the animal to Kempton animal hospital, Birchvet is walking distance from my home!!
I took BIBI to Kempton... What a difference! The consultation rooms did not stink, the vet was wonderful, told me my boy had a stroke and he was blind now. They kept him there, she phoned me 6.30 pm again at 11.30pm
and Saturday morning at 6.30 am to tel me he had a turn for the worst and could not walk anymore.
I howled, this is my child for heavens sake! the VET wanted to take me back home, I was so distraught.
This is service, I went to say goodbye Saturday Morning and he is going to be created and come back to me
NEVER BIRCHVET AGAIN
