Okay so myself and my girlfriend stayed at Whale Views over December 2012 and it is in my honest opinion the WORST place i have ever stayed at.
The web site has a lot of nice pictures and you are led to believe that this place is awesome when in reality half the pics on the web site are those of the owners house and not the below flat. Also when we got there it looked like the place was left to the dogs compared to the pics.
So as we were led through their garage (that has a deflated boat in it with a lot of clutter) we were shown to our flat. (i assume this was a huge house and it was converted into a self catering unit for 2010 soccer). So while the owner (Jane) was showing my girlfriend around, I went snooping and i found rotten and mouldy food in the fridge and a dirty dustbin with no refuse bag in.By this time i was already off that i payed little over R14K for this place for 2 weeks.
Later that night at about midnight the roof in the main bedroom also started leaking. i tried phoning the owners but neither of them picked up there phones. Eventually the water went away but we had to sleep in a different room as the sound of water dripping was driving me insane.
