In September 2012 we chose to give the product a try and purchased the Aqua O3Zone Elite Spa from Sauiem White of Altcare. My daughter suffers from Asthma and we felt this would be the perfect solution for her suffering. The price of the machine was R12 199.00. We chose to take the machine on terms which meant we would be paying R854.23 for 18 months. We used the machine as instructed by the sales person each day for almost a month and it seemed to have aggravated my daughter's condition. In October my husband called Sauiem White to let him know the machine was not working. I also contacted him on numerous occasions via sms and cell begging to return the machine. He kept referring us to head Office and to CT International the finance company to rectify, but they kept sending us back and forth passing the buck. I kept stopping my debit order and CT International kept debiting my bank account. My profile is now also negatively affected. For the first time we finally saw Sauiem White 3 months after our first contact with him only to hear that we are liable for a cancellation fee on R5 150.00. This is almost 50% of total cost of the machine. As a consumer what are we to do?
