In the last week of December (A few days before I left for vacation on the 30th December) I purchased Ladismith butter from Edenvale Checkers Hyper. A new consignment had arrived and they were busy packing it out for the customers. I took the product. On my return home from vacation in January we needed to open a new container of butter I took the product from the fridge and opened it only to find that it was molded over on the lid and inside the butter (A nice thick coat of blue green and grey mold greeted me) I have never seen anything like it in all my years of eating butter!! I immediately took pictures and emailed the provided address on their website. I took the rotten butter and put it in the rubbish being a Thursday trash collection day it was taken away with the rest of the rubbish. I received a reply the following day saying that I must provide a whole list of information found on the product I replied saying that it was thrown away and that I was not going to go and scratch through the rubbish to find the containers. I was then ignored.. I received no further response to my follow up emails and NO APOLOGY for my wasted money. There quality is not as indicated!!!
