I recently went to see a used Suzuki Swift at Bryanston Suzuki on Thursday afternoon a week ago. Martin, the rep was helpful enough, we test drove the car. It needed some work, the bumpers had to be resprayed, mags needed reconditioning, car needed a service and valet. I arranged to meet martin on the following Tuesday with all improvements done. I signed an offer to purchase on the following Monday to "secure " the car for 48HRS. The next day Martin met me with the car at my mechanic's garage. I was happy with the car and told him i'd buy it cash. He said he'd get back to me that afternoon. I didn't hear anything. I tried to phone him the next morning, his cell was off and he was out of the office delivering a car to Durban. I spoke to Riaan the sales Manager. He said he already had a deposit on the car from another buyer, he knew nothing about me and said that he'd get all the info and get back to me - 3 messages, 1 sms and a week later I still haven't heard a word, they just cant be bothered to tell me they have sold the car already. I gave up on them and bought a Ford Fiesta instead and got brilliant service from a dealership just down the road from them.
