I received an e-mail on Saturday 1 Feb from Stor-age giving me a 30 days price adjustment notice.
This adjustment is a R449 per month increase from paying R550 to R999 per unit per month.
During the past 4 months since Stor-age took ownership from public Storage, we were bombarded with e-mails telling us about exciting new changes etc, but not ONCE was any notice given of a possible price adjustment.
Having provided prior notice of such crazy increases, would have give. enough time to find alternative storage facilities and also enough time to give the 14 days notice as required.
This increase is insane and answers as seen from Stor-age in other complaints provided does not justify a increase of almost paying double than what was currently paid.
Providing all these new services and products furthermore also doesn't justify a close to 100% increase without prior e-mails or letters.
I think the Pretoria News papers should be informed of this and also of the greed reflected in Stor-age Self Storage.
