I bought a very expensive spectacle frame at Spectacle Warehouse in Access Park being a Christian Dior frame costing a whopping R2 500.00. I took the frame to my optometrist to have the lenses fitted. He placed the frame onto my face to see if any adjustments was needed. As he then tried to do the adjustments the frame broke at the ear piece. I took the frame back to Spectacle Warehouse where i was assisted by a consultant by the name of Linor Sonnenberg-Weaver. She absolutely refused to have the frame replaced and insisted that the optometrist was at fault. I took the frame back to my optometrist, he thus involved his Rep. to assist of which he then amanged to have the frame replaced. My optometrist then fitted the lenses and guess what!!! the frame brok again on the exact same place & exact same manner not to mention the same ear, think it was the right side. My optometrist thus had to get his Rep. in once again & have also had to cover the cost of having the frame replaced not once but TWICE!! The Rep. has thus informed the optometrist that SPECTACLE WAREHOUSE has sold me an old frame of 2009. How pathetic is this??!!! I've been advising everyone since not to buy from them.
