If you are considering buying a Renault, think twice and then think again! The cars are great, however once the warranty has expired, the customer care is non existent. One is bound to run into problems when trying to replace parts as Renault SA seems to have problems with their systems and in ordering parts.
My car has been at Imperial Select MultiFranchise, Paarden Eiland since 20 December 2013. It is now 6 weeks and I still don't have my car. Please don't tell me this is an isolated case. They have been trying to order parts since 3 December after may car was serviced on 2 Dec. I took it back on 20 December as they had apparently ordered the parts... they were the incorrect parts. The saga has continued, the latest being the part will arrive on 1 February. REALLY!! I find this totally unacceptable and the fact that neither the Service Manager at Multifranchise has made any goodwill gesture of a loan car, nor Renault SA.
Deeply disappointing... Drive away smiling... REALLY??? I have been inconvenienced because Renault's 'systems' are problematic. I am desperate to get my car back. HELP!!! 1
