After Service and repairing not up to standard

We bought a Seat Cupra 1.9 TDi on the 22nd December 2012 from Mike which from the start has been giving problems. The turbo had a defect and after a long struggle it has been replaced by Mike (after the car had been at their workshop 2 times) but then, again the car was giving problems, which broke down again. We had enough and complained to Mike about it and he said we can bring it in the Monday to check it out. He did not confirm a time, we had enough of the delay and decided to take it to the specialists, Barons in Bellville who fixed it to the standard it should be. Barons Bellville confirmed that silicone was used to "fix" the pipes that Barons Bellville had to replace. Nuts were also missing. I just feel that it is not very good practice to just fix it without proper fixtures and not replace all the parts when giving it back to your clients. Very dangerous. We especially bought the vehicle for the distance my wife drives on the N1 to work each day to Paarl. The invoice we got today amounts to just over R10 000 for all the labour and parts, I just feel that Mike can contribute towards the payment when his after service could not fix our problem we had. Very dissapointed.
