Asked Suzuki for a quotation for fairings. After numerous mails & incorrect part numbers on the quotations I got the final quotation. 50% deposit was required, I paid in full. The next day I was told they have made a mistake, they quoted me R114.96 for the one sticker kit but it was supposed to be R1144.96. I went for collection and only 1 of the 3 fairing parts was correct. When the other fairing came it was much darker. Suzuki told me to remove my fairing and bring them both. They said it is just that my bike's paint has faded. I told them to credit the fairing. Suzuki replied saying there is a 30% handling charge, I then replied saying to keep the fairing for me. The last part was delivered on the 20th of January. I went to collect the fairings but Suzuki told me that they had already sent the one fairing back. Nothing was said about handling fees for returns beforehand. When Suzuki refunded me they found the R1000 short on the sticker was actually incorrect and the correct price is R1449.98. So from R114.96, then R1144.96 now R1449.98. They deducted 15% handling fee, after I mailed & said to keep the fairing for me. And the extra, EXTRA price that the sticker kit went up with.
