Hyundai South Africa
Questionable Company Values & Bad Customer Service

We as a family purchased two vehicles from Hyundai, Umhlanga.
The first vehicle was bought cash and the log book was lost. It took many phone calls and after two and a half months, the vehicle was licensed.
The second vehicle, purchased by my husband, was driven off the showroom floor to our home by the salesman, then my husband and the salesman drove the vehicle back to Hyundai to drop him off. The windscreen was cracked which was not noticed by either of them and the dealership refused to accept any responsibility.
On bringing in my car for trade in my experience in the dealership was unpleasant with the manager, Deon Maharaj, calling across the showroom floor to Lenny Chetty, "hey you fat f##k, bring your keys". I asked Lenny if the car I was purchasing 100% and he assured me that it was. The car was making a noise when I went over 100km/hr. Took it back and it was booked in for diagnostics check. Outcome was faulty drive shaft. From that point, I have had to fight to get anything done. Lenny admitted later that the car was in fact faulty and he to me. Ryanald Gounden did not want to assist me with obtaining my service plan/ painttech refund that was owing to me.
