We live on Westview drive, Bryanston Ext 5, Randburg (Right opposite Randburg Court and Police station) Pikitup service is absolutely shocking. They come every 2 weeks. Because of this there are always rubbish bins and piles of rubish in the area. To add insult to injury, they only collect the rubbish from the bins and leave the rubbish bags that are outside the bins lying on the pavement. It is NOT the resident's fault that so much rubbish accumulates because you do not come every week, so Pikitup should collect the rubbish bags that accumulate outside the bins. This is unacceptable service as the residents in the area pay their levies just like everybody else. I called Pikitup and requested to speak with a manager and was only informed that they are short on vehicles and that is why there is no regular service. Should we pay only half the levy then for half service. AND FOR GOODNESS SAKE - PICK UP ALL THE RUBBISH!!! AT LEAST!!!
