Russel Hobbs Mist Fan

I purchased a Russel Hobbs mist fan in October 2012. It has been working perfectly, but then on Thursday night while my wife and I were sleeping, the one blade broke off and due to the speed, it dislodged the grill, which was in, and landed on the bed near us.

Obviously I am highly concerned about this as this could have been more severe and potentially injured my 9 month pregnant wife or myself. I have attempted to take this up with the team in South Africa, unfortunately, I was told that I could purchase a new blade. They unfortunately do not grasp the severity of what happened and the potential damage that it could have posed to us and the affect it has had on our perception of the Russel Hobbs brand, of which we have several products (not for much longer if this is the quality of their goods).

I just can't believe that I was told I could purchase a new blade due to shoddy quality. No customer care whatsoever!
