I reside in a village called Blood River outside Polokwane. On Wednesday 11th December when I got home from work around 18h00 a certain section of the village didn't have electricity. The power was still off when I went to work the following morning, meaning the power was out the whole night. On friday 13 December at 20h30 we had another power cut which lasted for about 2 hrs. Today on saturday 14 December at 16h30 we are having yet another power cut. Every time it rains the following day we experience power cuts. No so long ago Eskom informed us they are upgrading their network. The funny thing is at the suburbs or townships their not experiencing this. Are being undermined because in villages the under priveledged people who never complain. And why is Eskom treating us like their doing us a favour, whereas they are providing a service which we are paying for.
