3 months ago I went to golden vision optometrists to enquire about getting spectacles. I specifically told them that I am on discovery health key care plus plan and they advised that is not a problem as they take key care members. I went ahead and did my eye test and got my glasses after 2 weeks. On arrival im told ill have to pay R150 because medical aid does not cover that so I paid. Now I get an sms saying please contact golden vision optometrists regarding your account (they don't even have the decency to call their customers) when I call them they say I have to pay the account because medical aid will not cover claim because vision amount is too low. This is something they were away of from the beginning!!! They knew very well after I did my eye test that discovery wouldn't pay. Instead of advising me before hand that I am be liable they deceived me into taking the glasses. Now they are telling me that I am liable and I am not return the glasses. I am extremely upset with GOLDEN VISION OPTOMETRIST, they are deceiving and I will keep spreading the word because I am extremely unhappy.
