This is the second time in 7 years we have had a Kwikot 150 litre 3kw hot water cylinder installed. The first installation was done about 2 years ago. On phoning Kwikot I was informed that the cylinder is out of guarantee.
and to contact the Insurance company. Does the company split the 5 years guarantee between all replaced cylinders as none seem to last 5years. Having been in the Quality Assurance field for 30 years 8 of which have been as a lecturer on Quality Management with PMI. I find this to be a text book case of having or scant or no regard for customer feedback. Is the company ISO 9001 :2008 accredited or cylinder SABS approved?
Blaming the water is also not acceptable as I have been using Cape Town water on my previous HW Cylinder for 20 years.
