We have 2 SodaStream water making machines. It has been now several months that almost all the gas bottles, which get re-filled by one company in South Africa -SodaStream self gave us this information as we called them to complain-, have 25-30 and at times 50% less gas inside that they should have. As we approached the local reseller, they told us that it is quite a big problem at the present and that at times the bottles are almost empty. As I let SodaStream know about what the shop told me, they said that they were not telling the truth. I was wondering what a big this is! What about the people which are not checking on the weight and a spending thousands just for the refills? Oh, last but not least, since the time the prices of the gas bottles increased, and quite a lot, this nonsense has started. Does the mother company also apply this new "get rich unfairly" strategy? How environmental friendly is it?
