My brother registerd with Global Visas on 22 October 2012. Since then he was required to pay a deposit of R20 000 for which the services of assisting him with relocation to the USA was offered and agreed upon.
Since the date of inception he received 3 calls to ask him whether he found any thing yet?
After failed attempts to get hold of someone in this regards, I mailed through a harsh email on 25 October 2013. My brother received a response to this from a woman in the UK who advised that she would send him correspondence immediately. We are still awaiting this correspondence. The same woman also advised that should he wish to pursue this matter, he may do so...
Clearly there are lots of misleading promises and legal jargon made on the documents, which unsuspecting people will not pick up as the claims are so promising.
Are people really expected to pay R20 000 for no service and not be refunded. Global Visas may as well be Nigerian who send out sms's to advise that you have won a million Rand in a competition you never entered but need to pay a R20 000 deposit in order for them to process your payment.
