Refuse to repair under guarantee

On the 2nd April 2013 (invoice no. 2192 - R800.00), Bergen's fitted a compressor into my fridge that was supplied by me. On the 2nd May 2013 (invoice no. 2721 - R1, 200.00), another compressor was fitted that was supplied by Bergen's. On the 30th September 2013 (Job/Invoice no. 2948), I took my fridge back to them as the fridge was not working again, and I was told the compressor had to be replaced (under guarantee). On 3rd October 2013 I sent an email to the head office and to date I have had no reply. After a week of the fridge sitting at the Primrose Hill workshop without any repair I was given an answer in writing that they are not prepared to repair, so I collected my fridge.
South African law protects the customer to get a decent service for payment which means if the supplied equipment is not functioning for a predicted period of time, it has to be replaced. Bergen's is trying to ignore this law and responsibility but they took the payment!
