On 02/09/2013 at 03:06 parcel RI 272067210ZA was at incoming international of the SA Postal Services' JHB Int mail centre, on 03/09 at 06:08 it went to customs, on 05/09 at 02:03 there was a detention notice and ever since 11/09 its status just shows as "in transit" on their system. A month later I've had no notice whatsoever in any way or form of why it is stuck there and how I can retrieve it. Poor, poor service, but what can you expect! I made numerous calls to the JHB Int mail hub, only to be put on hold, the phone ringing off the hook, getting umbled replies from a man who sounded drunk and told me to hold on and no one picked up, just kept holding for 16 minutes until I gave up. Should I drive there myself and see what's going on...!!?
