My husband and I rented a house from Eskom and lived with our kids, until Eskom appointed him at Midrand. I stayed alone at wilge properties until my house was broken into while we were in the house and they took our belongings. I decided 2 share the house since it was unsafe 2 live all by myself, bt now my geyser is not working due 2 water shortage and my sewer drain is blocked and am being told am supposed to live alone so they wont attend 2 my defaults.
Before my husband left 4 Midrand Eskom privatized training at Matla power station so he automatically became a contractor, the same Eskom that privatized training sent us letters stating we should move out of Eskom properties because my husband no longer worked permanently 4 Eskom and was being charged morethan R500 every month 4 Eskom lawyers. And m still paying lawyers even when my husband decide 2 work permanently for Eskom just so we could have shelter.
I don't understand why we should be il-ltreated like this, Pensioners are being evicted from houses not because they cant pay, but because they want 2 give the houses 2 one person who wants 2 turn them into guest houses..OUR PARENTS SERVED ESKOM TIL OLD AGE NW THEY R BEING MISTREATED!
