Impact Meters definitely needs to be investigated. I am currently staying at a complex called Fish Eagle on Charles De Gaulle, Highveld, Centurion and ever since I started using Impact Meters the inconsistencies have never made sense and I am not the only one. Impact meters need to be investigated. The exorbitant prices they are charging dont make sense. With the same lifestyle I maintained in Joburg before moving to Centurion I paid on average about R350 for electricity now with impact meters its always plus minus a R1000. I stay alone, geyser only on every 2 days, cooking once every few days, working professional hardly at home. How does the TV on for about 2 hours after hours and lights same time amount to R1000 and still being a gauteng such a big jump from R350 to a R1000. We were promised they would be no markups. This is daylight and Impact meters seem to be getting away with it. Throw around meter readings as if that will deter or convince us of some other usage. We know how much we are using and those bills dont make sense.
