On 13.03.2013 I instructed Impact Meters to discontinue the electricity. I was renting to Beauty Malope who neglected her obligation to pay. As the account was on my name & it was running up I sent the Discontinuation forms to Francois Vorster. I contacted him to check whether the electricity supply was discontinued & he assured me that it was. After a few weeks I found that the electricity was never switched off. I immediately contacted them & Francois confirmed that it was on but that they were going to cut the wires as Ms Malope (ex-tenant) illegally reconnected it. They want to hold me responsible for the illegal connection as well as the illegal consumption after 13 March. I have told them that unless they can prove that I connected the electricity I will not take responsibility. They have even handed me over to Credit Intel despite the fact that I instructed them that the electricity was to be discontinued. I have asked Sophia Redelinghuys from Credit Intel to send me prove that shows that I reconnected the electricity with Impact Meters but I have received nothing to date. Why would, I tell Impact Meters to discontinue the electricity, just to illegally reconnect it!?!!!
