Purchase of a Broken Product

I was very disappointed upon purchasing a Russel Hobbs Juicer. I am a student so this is no small investment and i was excited to finally purchase this juicer. I chose Russel Hobbs as i thought it was a trustworthy brand and i already own a few of their products.

The juicer was bought in Game in Cape Town and, upon arrival back in Stellenbosch, i could not use it as it was broken. I returned it to Game in Stellenbosch, but they had to reimburse me as they did not have any juicers in stock (of at all).

I was disappointed as i had saved money and looked forward to this purchase for some time. It's not so much the fact that Game was out of stock - i shouldn't have had to return a broken product in the first place. I was very disappointed in a brand that is so well trusted and widely sold.
