The Metro Bill Revenue Department tell me I owe them R230 000 for water usage, for a household of 2 people. With no explanation, they send me a bill where the water usage varies from R200, to R35 766, to R84 752 for a 3 month period! How is it possible to use that much water? I have tried again and again to contact anybody in eThekwini municipality to get an explanation, but nobody replies. Clearly there is some error somewhere, but nobody will take responsibilty.
