My husband purchased a Busby Handbag 7 months ago from the Luggage Inn in Cresta shopping centre, he paid R790 for the bag, it's one of many bags I wear, so it is not used on a daily basis, about 2 months ago, the lining where the zip is stitched onto started to fray and tear so much so that it came away completley from the zip. I can estimate that I have used this bag maybe 15 times in a period of 7 months. So honestly, the lining should still be intact, as the bag itself is in very good condition, so honestly I put this down to poor workmanship. A handbg for R790 should last a person at least a year, maybe 2 years if like me you look after your bags, they should last you a min. of 5 - 10 years.
I'm pretty disappointed with Busby as I've always associated the name brand with good quality.
