Execuserve is an outsourced solution for all passport, home affairs and visa requirements located in shopping centres such as Clearwater Mall and Sandton City.
My complaint comes as a result of the lack of service and the and general attitude of its owner, Andrew Macrae.
On 25 January 2013, I submitted my British Passport to the Clearwater Mall kiosk of Execuserve, for renewal purposes and paid R3495.
After months of and deception by Andrew Macrae, in July i was told by the High Commission that my Passport was never submitted or paid for. Andrew, when he finally answered my calls, he told me that the Consulate was mistaken and assured me that my passport was definitely submitted. The Consulate confirmed it had finally been received on the 24 July - SIX MONTHS LATER!! A British Passport takes 4 to 6 weeks to be renewed, so if you have waited longer - check to see if it has actually been submitted.
I have now had to pay an additional R1568 and drive to Pretoria twice to receive an Emergency Passport to travel next week. Andrew said he would refund the money but still has not, he's not even answering my calls anymore.
Save yourself the trouble and do your own application.
