On the 3rd of October i emailed through all the requested documents to cancel my TV license (Signed affidavit from police station Certified copy of my ID Certified copy of my new address) to [Email Removed] In the email i requested they contact me to confirm they received the documentation and the cancellation, they never contacted me back.
On the 18th January 2013 i contacted them again and spoke to Terry and once again sent everything through, Terry said he would personally handle the cancellation. during the course of the next month or so, i received sms's stating that i need to pay my TV license.
On the 8th March 2013 i contacted them again and spoke to a women, unfortunately i don't remember her name but she requested i email everything through to [Email Removed]
From then i never heard from them again and assumed the licence had finally been cancelled.
On 26th July 2013 (9 Months after my first request) they emailed me a letter of cancellation that i need to fill in and have certified at a police station in order to cancel the TV licence.
This is totally ridiculous now and WANT SOMEONE WITH AUTHORITY TO CONTACT ME BACK AND SORT THIS NONSENSE OUT!!!
