My daughter got married on 19/05/2012 and we booked Ian van Straaten Photography trough the wedding venue. We had to pay the whole account before the wedding took place. We paid for the wedding photos and paid R10 000.00 extra for three story books that he would supply after the wedding. We received the wedding photos after tree months of numerous phone calls and e-mails and at the end we had to collect the photos ourselves in Bloemfontein. We are still waiting for the story books. It is now more than a year after the wedding! According to him, he was bankrupt and lost all his equipment including his camera and all the photos. Therefore it was a big surprise to see my daughter's wedding photos on his web site and he still advertises as wedding photographer. Please do not use this photographer, as you will surely lose all your money and have lots of trouble and lots of tears!!
